Frank Napolitano

Frank A. Napolitano is a managing director at Lehman Brothers and Co-Head of the Global Power Group in investment banking, with principal responsibility for running the electric power aspect of the Firm’s wholesale energy practice. Throughout the course of his career at Lehman Brothers (and formerly at Chase Securities), Mr. Napolitano has been in the forefront of the development and financing of new competitive generation and energy supply entities. Additionally, this wholesale concentration has complemented his other advisory and corporate finance responsibilities within the Firm ’s investor-owned utility franchise.

His major transaction relationships include advisory assignments and/or transactions with such wholesale energy clients as Aquila, Duke, Dynegy, El Paso Energy, Edison Mission Energy, Foster Wheeler, International Power, InterGen, LS Power, Mirant, National Energy Group, NRG Energy, Peabody, PSEG Power and Tractebel North America. Additionally, his utility clients include Black Hills, Cinergy, Dominion, DQE, Exelon, FPL Group, Keyspan, MidAmerican, NiSource, PG&E Corporation, PPL, Southern Company, UtiliCorp United and Xcel.

Mr. Napolitano has also testified as an expert witness before several public proceedings, including the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission on behalf of Northern Indiana Public Service Company, the California Public Utility Commission on behalf of Pacific Gas & Electric Company, the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission the Office of Ratepayer Advocacy on behalf of Duquesne Light Company and the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York on behalf of Consolidated Edison.

Prior to investment banking, Mr. Napolitano gained energy industry experience including the domestic natural gas marketing segment with Norstar Energy, the international integrated petroleum segment with Amerada Hess, and with the Consolidated Edison Company of New York and the gas distribution segment with the Brooklyn Union Gas Company.
